Meet Angie Pferdner
So glad you’re here. I’m Angie Pferdner—yoga practitioner, instructor, and a lifelong student of the human body.
For over 21 years, I’ve been practicing and teaching yoga, with a deep focus on helping people release stress and trauma from both the body and mind. My passion comes from personal experience and years of working closely with clients—watching what happens when people learn to listen to their bodies and give themselves permission to slow down, feel, and heal.
My Approach
My work blends movement, awareness, and nervous-system support to help clients reconnect with their innate ability to heal. I draw from a diverse background that includes Yogafit, Qigong, muscle testing, and trauma-sensitive yoga, along with ongoing study in mind-body science.
I’ve been influenced by teachers and researchers such as Peter Levine, Candice Pert, and others who have helped illuminate the deep connection between our physical bodies, emotions, and lived experiences. As a licensed personal trainer through ACE Fitness and a long-time fitness instructor, I approach wellness holistically—honoring both strength and softness, effort and rest.
How I Work With Clients
I support clients in developing awareness of their breath, posture, sensations, and emotions through tools such as:
Gentle yoga and mindful movement
Breathwork and meditation
Visualization and guided awareness
Instinctive shaking to help the body release stored tension
Rather than pushing or forcing change, my goal is to help people feel safe enough to let go—at their own pace, in their own way. Over time, clients often experience greater energy, clarity, flexibility, and ease in their bodies, along with increased confidence, self-acceptance, and inner calm.
A Safe Space for Healing
Above all, I am committed to creating a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental. Healing is not linear, and there is no “right” way to do it. I believe every person carries their own wisdom—and my role is to guide, encourage, and walk alongside you as you reconnect with it.
My work is rooted in Shake It Out Yoga, a trauma-informed practice designed to help the body release stress and stored emotions naturally.
